Borgoricco’s Town Hall and Civic Center, located on the same axis of symmetry, are among the most significant works of the great Milanese architect and sum up the history and culture of the community. In fact, the Town Hall and square are inspired by the structure of Roman and Palladian villas, the Roman forum and the Po Valley furnaces all elements of the Venetian civilization. The ceiling of the Council Chamber reproduces the ceiling of an inverted ship’s hull of the Palazzo della Ragione in Padua.
